To All Applicants and Program Participants:

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic our lobby is accessible by appointment only. For your convenience we have placed a black drop box to the left of our door. There is also a pick up box to the right of the door where you can pick up an application. If you have any questions please contact us via phone or email at abingdonhousing@gmail.com

Rent:
Rent is still due to your landlord as normal. All HAP payments to landlords will go our as normal.  All Utility Reimbursement checks will continue as normal.  All Repayment Agreements are still due on their respective dates.

Change in Income:
Please notify our office if you encounter a change in your income within 10 business days.

Applications:
Applications for assistance can be picked up in person from the box located outside our office. We are also now offering the ability to apply online via our website. 

Recertifications:
All Recertifications will continue.  However, they will be limited to phone and/or email.  Please contact our office if you may require alternative arrangements.

The Abingdon Housing Authority is still open for business.  Unfortunately, factors beyond our control have forced a change in our normal operations.  It is our hope to limit the disruptions of our services to the extent possible.  Events are changing rapidly and we will adjust accordingly.  We ask for your patience as we figure out how to adapt to the new realities we are all facing.  Please contact us if you have any questions.
